Stunning Photos From Photographer Patrick “Pelican Man” Wilkes

The photos in the calendar were taken by professional landscape and nature photographer Patrick Wilkes. He’s also known as Panosa Nana, which means Pelican Man in Paiute. A Native American friend gave him that name while he was taking photos of pelicans to appear in his  “Four Seasons at Pyramid Lake” exhibit at the Pyramid Lake Museum and Cultural Center.

The Eastern Sierra holds a special place in Patrick’s heart, since it’s where he proposed to Kimberly, his wife of 8 years.

A Peaceful Nature Calendar

In the Eastern Sierra calendar, you’ll find photos of Mount Whitney, Death Valley wildflowers, fall foliage, mountain streams, Little Lakes Valley, and more.
